Today I was just driving along and the anti-spin light just came on. Tried to turn it back on, but nope, wouldn't work. Now my car is alltime-non-anti-spin which is no fun, especialy since I am trying to sell the car... Any ideas what it could be? A dealer will probably rape me if I take it there and have them figure it out.

Possibly an ABs sensor fault.
VAG-COM would identify the actual fault.
Have you tried a reset, by battery disconnect, re-connect, ignition on but NOT start, and wait for a few mins...
Might clear the fault if intermittent.
