European plates

Sorry if this is in the wrong section, wasn't entirely sure where to put it...

If anyone is looking for euro style plates i recently bought a set off ebay, and the quality is brilliant. Full metal pressed plates with a free fitting kit. I purchased spanish style ones but theres a fair few variations, The sellers name is europl8 and the cost i thought was pretty cheap.

looks gd same as the one i got on the back of my lcr. you fitting surrounds with them aswell?

aren't these illegal? by this i mean although the lettering is the same height ect as regulation if you get stopped by the police can't they fine you and give you 3 points for them? I think they are a nice finishing touch but could do without the hassle of getting pulled for having them on
