I recently swapped over the yellow and red wires for my Sony stereo and the next day it wouldn't work.
Tried pressing any button, the CD wouldnt even eject from inside in when plugged in.
Put my old aura stereo back in, unlocked the code and works fine, except something doesnt seem right still. Normally when you start the engine the stereo turns on, but it doesn't and stereo doesnt turn off when the engine does either, checked the option in the PTY/PROG but is set fine and have tested both.
Also when you turn the engine off normally the stereo turns off and the doors all unlock which isnt happening either as it used to
Any light you guys could shed would be greatly appreciated.
