View Full Version : A little bit lower.
My suspension has been fitted with many thanks to the guys and gal at autotechnik. Very friendly bunch and well priced.
Any way.
The suspension looks sweeet. Had a good chance to put it through its paces on the way home it performs excellently. Off the line acceleration is now possible and cornering has become more positive. All in all a good purchase.
Point to note.
Stupid plastic arch lining has a bit that sticks out fractionally and rubs a little on hard cornering and big bumps. This wouldn't be a problem with standard wheels at only 6.5J but my wider ones cause minor problems. I am off out now to clean the car (again) sand down the plastic and go and take some photos.

Couldn't clean the car cos my hose had frozen solid and I can't be ar*ed to do it by hand. So no photos today. I have put the hose in the garage tonight so I can clean it tomorrow.
The plastic sticky out bit has been mostly removed and now everything is as it should be.

Some nice bit some not nice bits. Love the lower rear valance with the twin centre pipe.

All a bit OTT for me...
mostly I'm interested in the chrome fog light surrounds and the rear valence. everything else is too much for me too.

front coilovers - but swelled springs ??
wierd - never mind ,when they get tired just grab a coil 2 1/4" catalogue and choose ya poison ;)
I'm not entirely happy with the setup at the moment. The front needs to be a bit higher as I'm still getting arch rubbing when on crap roads. However the overall comfort of the ride has improved ( surprised me ) it handles brilliantly.

Having only just seen these pics myself. The car isn't quite as low as it looks here although its close. Its just parked on a slope.

It looks good M8. I'm just glad I don't have black door handles and mirrors for next week or I'd feel inferior ;)
Well I was thinking of doing them now that I've seen the pic flashred posted. Maybe I'll hold off for a week or so.
