Hi Guys

Our new rolling road system is now up and running. We will be offering, before and after runs, custom mapping on the rollers and eventually organising a forum power run day.

Due to the weather, the forum meet/power run day is going to have to wait until a bit later in the year.

A few pics (excuse the quality):

Hi Mate

Its a Dimtech Race from Dimsport, Italy

Been very impressed so far, we have run 12 cars over the last few weeks to do some testing. Very consistant results, and within 5bhp of what we were expecting everytime :)

£50 for 2 runs?

I take it this is your ordinary day to day price and on RR day shootouts there will be a discount? How much? £50 is quite decent individually as ive seen some at £ 60-70 which i think is shocking for 15-20mins time!

However saying that, i would expect more than 2 power runs for £50. Most places offer 3-4 for a good average on individual full price runs! 2 is normally the norm on rolling road days when you have 30 cars to push through! The reason i would want more than 2 runs is to get an average and to dismiss error, ie operator error, or slip, load, coming off too soon etc etc

Keep us informed of when you'll have a RR day event :)

What are chipped 1.8T making on your rollers?

Cheers, Mitch :)

Hi Mitch

£50 is the individual price for members. Group discounts will apply according to the amount in the group.

When rolling road runs are priced, you have to allow for more than just labour costs.

For example, the quality of the equipment being used, and not forgeting that a decent rolling road set up uses a powerful fan, usually 5KW+ which as you will know uses ALOT of electricity as its running.

We haven't had time to test our tuning on our own rollers yet, just standard cars to ensure everything is running well :)

High overboost at lower revs, but tails off sooner.

You want our normal mapping, trust me.

Just wait until Monday and you'll see :)

The S3 runs at 265 - 270bhp when mapped up. :)
