Guys,
I, along with many other people LURVE the new Blue dash lights in new VW's.

I assume it's quite an easy matter of simply replacing the lights in my clock pod with new blue bulbs/ blue 'caps'.

Is this the case? and if so where can I purchase these fantastic little bast**ds..?

Cheers

I wish, but I bet its no that simple! :(

Still, the Ibizas red dash is much better than the standard dash on my old Peugeots.

Hmmm, That doesn't sound too good. :(

Have you any idea why replacing the bulbs wouldn't work..?

not just lights im afraid , they are miniscule PCB led's , approx 2mm square ,

nothing is impossible mind ;)

need a steady hand to play with that one . plus all the other instruments will need changin too :(

Few years back i had an rs1800 and all i did was dremel the green acrylic filter screen away from the front of the light module and got a sheet of the clear plastic they use to colour stage lighting from a local craft shop (for blue you want indigo to get the right colour,£2 it cost me) and put that in the front instead! If you can get away with just swapping filters do it, its cheaper and less risky if your abit of a spaz with a soldering iron;) or if you keep and eye on ebay sometimes you can get a set already sorted and soldered for about £40 on an exchange basis, worth a look
