Wife had accident in my car on my policy

A couple of years ago my wife was driving my car and had an accident with the garage!!

I was told by a girl at the insurance company that when I am declaring claims on quotes it would be a claim by her since the damage was done by her although it was my car and my policy.

Is this correct? When I get new quotes, am i accident free and put my wife (the additional driver) down as the accident prone person!!

Yeah your wife will need to declare any accidents or claims...best to leave her off the insurance policy ;)

Yeah, totally agree. My blood pressure goes way up when she is driving.

Has its positives though. Lower premiums (why when she crashes it not me) and get driven home after a few.
