Having trouble locating the original in-car wiring diagram and I need to double-check I've got this right so I can fit me new stereo
So we have
2 original separate plugs
1 for speakers - dead simple (even I can suss out which is which)
the other one...
BROWN = GROUND
RED/WHITE STRIPE = IGNITION ?
YELLOW/ORANGE STRIPE = BATTERY ?
BLUE/GREY STRIPE = ?
BLUE/WHITE STRIPE = ?
WHITE/GREY STRIPE = ?
The last 3 aren't currently doing anything when I look at the connections on the Alpine I'm taking out...
Tell me if I'm wrong before I go and cut something I don't mean to please!
