When I got home tonight I decided to clean out the car only to find a hole in the floor mat (drivers side by heal):mad:
That's the 3rd set in a year and 3 months :mad:
I know I do 80000km+/yr but 3 sets of mats is out of hand. Does anyone know where to get a set of good quality mats with either a HD rubber or metallic heal protector?
Just stop driving in your stilletos! ;)

paulo, try a large motor factors/parts dealership , i got my stainless steel chequered mats there, they have a heel pad maek of stainless steel and are mounted on a tough red mat, mat is dirty but the metal hasnt even got a scrape yet!! about 35 quid here, works out about 52 euros but are well worth it, for that you get the driverside with metal plate, passenger side with motorsport motif (no metal) and two rear smaller mats. If you are really really stuck one of us could purchase a set and send it over.:cheers:
Thanks for the info. Was already over to the autostyle site, but they are very expensive and I counldn't find the toledo (or any other Seat) in LHD:(
I did find that you can get some nice healplates for even more money. I might just e-mail them to find out if they can get something in LHD and dish out my life savings;)
Was looking over at the ABT mats. Look nice but ouch!, are they expensive.:(
If anyone need 3 sets of passenger & rear mats in almost brand new condition, you know who to e-mail;)

btw the metal plated mats dont move at all so it doesnt have to be exactly taylored for the toledo.

Had a set in my mk3 Golf. The damn plastic/rubber fumes produced during hot summer days (and even winter days when they where new) was nausiating :sick: .
Would like something that uses the stock plastic "thingies" as well. It's my car's 100000km present.;)

Shit happens when you've been in this country as long as I have (11+ yrs). You speak english with the Portugues & the Germans (I work for a German company), which mean you forget 50% of it.;)
Lordy, the mega money expensive mats company hasn't responded to my e-mail yet. I guess they're not interested:p
