OK I give up! The revo website at http://www.revotechnik.com simply won't load on mt PC at work. What is wrong and does anyone else have this problem??

Also, is anyone familiar with the 4 bar fuel press reg upgrade to extract more performance?

Most likely you haven't got the Flash plugin loaded.
Does the link beneath work?
http://www.revotechnik.com/welcome.html?%5FaccProps=%5Bobject+Object%5D

And what version of Internet Explorer are you using?

Cheers,
GJ.

P.s. Mark, did you get my email? Or are there still problems with BT? (is the sky blue? yeah, yeah, I know..;)

Just tried it, it seems to work fine on my pc!

Takes a few secs to download the Macromedia Movie, but I'm on Broadband!

I've got IE version 5.00.3315.1000 and I re-installed the flash player 6 plug-in - which appeared to install OK (the little movie appeared OK) but I am on a global computer system at work, and a lot of the normal configuration options in IE tools are not available to be modified. I have been told by a colleague that the TVR site won't load either.....

If revo can't sort out the site, I will have to give them another call. What I wanted was details of the 4 bar fuel press reg mod and remap to revo software for the Leon, as this was what I was offered as an upgrade from APR EMCS 98 octane prog. The guy I spoke to at revo on Friday said this would give 225 BHP. sounds good to me, but not heard the fuel press reg mod mentioned by anyone else yet?

Depends how they secured IE but if it was done through the registry then you can easily disable it again.
Go to Start - Run - Type Regedit and click ok.
Browse to the key beneath and delete the whole Internet Explorer key
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft

Anyway, if you have more questions about IE then please mail me privately as I guess this is slightly offtopic...;)

I'm pretty interested as well to see how well the 4 bar FPR will work. My car is the odd one here as it's a mk3 VR6 rebuild to a 1.8T (AYP engine - Ibiza Cupra 2000) with the 95 APR program.
I'll have to check which FPR the VR6 uses although I'm pretty sure it's a 3 bar item.

Cheers,
GJ.

I know they have had (and still have?) problems with their Internet provider BT which means they have not received all emails send to them.
However, I agree with you that it would have been nicer to either push BT to fix it ASAP or to post a message on their website which explains the reason why customers may not get a reply to their email requests.

Cheers,
GJ.

Sorry but nothing in Scotland as yet. Will keep you all posted on that one.

The website has just been revised and we are working on it as I write this. The home page and navigation have all been altered for easier use. The new version will go up as soon as possible.

Have not spoken to the guys at Awesome this week but the situation is that Awesome are still supplying APR but are now supported by the US office and not APR Europe.

Awesome will also sell Revo software and SPS products
All conversions from APR to Revo still have to be carried out at our office in Daventry as the software upgrade is FOC and we could not ask our dealers to carry this out for nothing.

We at Revo do not ask our dealers to sell our product exclusively. The choice is then always with the customer.

BTW. refresh on the Revo website, it has been modified tonight.

Hi Guy's

Many thanks for the comments. We am aware of the FAQ's and a few other points. Hopefully corrected this afternoon and should have some pictures added by mid next week.

Anyone with Revo software who wishes to offer any testiminials, we would gladly place them on our customer page.

Mark,

Congratulations on the new website :o)
As far as testimonials are concerned...I will need to finish
my project first and then hop over to Vince or your place to
get the EMCS chip swapped.

Any plans on window stickers as well? (with the upcoming carshows
in the summer)

Cheers,
GJ.
