G'day cobber,

I have just taken delivery of my new Ibiza Tdi 110bhp. It almost looks like a cupra so i was wondering how much it would cost to change the standard (vertical and horizontal) lined grill for the fancy hexaganol one.

and could I fit it myself????

Many thanks

mmmm yes and no really

the centre grill pops in ok , needs slight modification to the bonnet pull lever

outer grilles are joined with a bumper reinforcement beam (plastic) which is melted to the bumper with tabs .

COULD be done , BUT would take a lot of cut and shut as the lower section to the grille that reinforces the bumper is a different thickness on the CUPRA4 bumper . if swappin bumper too not a problem . if changin grille only mmmm yes but not without a fair bit of grief .

i have pics of both the C4 + std if it helps

mail me ill send em for you to look at ??

Thanks flapper,

I think I will have to wait a little while until I can afford to run the real cupra and its thirst.

Thanks again anyway old bean.

Daz,

You mentioned the Cupra4 above, doesn't GARYTDI want an Ibiza grill, not the Leon??
