I'm toying with the idea of building my sub into the side of the boot (8v ibiza), I haven't used fibreglass before but would like to give it a go myself (trying to spend as little as poss!). There was a thread a couple of weeks back with advice on this but I can't find it. The sub is a pheonix gold 10" and is in a sealed box at the moment.
If anyone has any hints/tips they'd be more than appreciated!
Before I even get started where's the best place to get some fibreglass, and how difficult is it to use? I know it's going to be messy!

Sorry Kev I haven't had the chance to type it all in again yet. If you want lets have a NW Meet and I'll explain all. It's easier to give pointers if you show me what you want to do. The back of my sub box is all fibreglass.
I'm working on a fibreglass supplier at the moment because some of the stuff I used was from Halfords and it ain't cheap there. You need to find a boat building supplier and I think I saw one in Liverpool the other day.

A NW meet sounds good to me, the advice would be much appreciated. Just read a post from saul looks like there'd be a few people after your advice! I'm free anytime, not got much of a life at the moment just been dumped... she said something about my car being the only thing I've got in my life... sounds about right to me!

I'm free anytime to meet up. Get Saul to text me because I will be away from work and can't check the forum.
My other half complains I spend too much time on my ICE, but only because I'm not doing hers!!!!
