View Full Version : Toledo 20 VT (180 BHP) UK Launch
As a subscriber to Auto Express magazine, I rec'd my usual copy yesterday and was browsing through and noticed that in their 'whats happening over the next month' table that the SEAT Toledo Sport 180 BHP goes on sale in the UK on the 28th February.
I also noticed a couple of weeks ago it was listed amongst the new car model pricing @ £14,995.
I have checked the SEAT UK website and ther is no mention of this model making an appearance here but is currently available in mainland europe.
Can anyone shed any light on this, is it true ???

Hasnt it got some kind of body like like the leon cupra as well?? I thought Kevin said that when Iwas speaking to him but I'm not 100%

not sure, doubt it as there isnt a kit availbel for the Toledo abroad, and the 180 has been available for a while there in Signo and Sport trims.
Signo is equivilent to SE and Sport is/was equivilent to the old Leon MY02 Cupra and 110TDi, I assume the old V5 was a sport

with regard to the new toledo 1.8T, we have been carrying out the software upgrades for this car now for a few months for SEAT Force in Greece. They are producing a model with a full styling package. I will try and get some images to show you.

Not a body kit as such, looks like Cupra alloys and a lower front air dam

Actually the same thing is going on hear (except for the engine management). They've done it on both 150pd tdi & 1.8T. They call it the toledo evolution. Full body kit, 17" , full leather.
I got the brouchure from kevin yesturday and to me it looks like all they have done is taken the 02 cupra bumper well the same one that is on the 1.6s etc and had the bottom sprayed body colour instead of leaving it in black plastic...
I can scan the piccy in if your interested!
Ok so I couldnt be arsed to power up the scanner so I tool a piccy of the brochure with me digicam and heres the front cover....
