Could I pick your brains????

I have been using VAG-COM for a while now and have used block 120 to work out Torque and BHP in come cases.... Just out of interest really.

All of the cars I have done this on, the figure has always been pretty close to either the book BHP/Torque claim or a recent Rolling Road figure, appart from 2 cars recently.

Both cars were remapped, (one RS4 B5 with a revo stage 1 and an S3 with a custom high spec remap).

I wondered if you could tell me whether, when a car is remapped, the STD Torque value saved on the ECU is updated to match?

As I understand, this value is what VAG-COM refers to when calculating Actual Torque in NM. I wondered if I could still rely on this fugure on a remapped car?
If not, then the Block 120 caluculation for BHP and Torque in lbft would not work out on a remapped car.

Although with both of the above cars, the TQ/BHP curves did cross at 5252, the values were well below what was expected....Although there were known problems.

I have asked Ross-Tech and they have said that it is down to the discression of the remapper as to whether this value is changed or not, although it is possible.

Is this something you guys would do with the revo software?
