Heath Mill Rd Trading Estate

WV5 8EX
Time: 9.30 - 5.00
Event:
Performance Torque will be operating its rolling road for all comers.
There will be 24 spots pre booked and any available time left after these
runs will be offered on a first come first serve basis. £25 will guarantee you 2
runs and a printout showing performance figures.
Also anyone who signs up to a remap on the day will be offered a discount. Please show intent by signing up below.
At VW Rescue there will be a general open day allowing you to look round the
new work shop and some of the interesting vehicles owned by the company and associates.
Free pig roast / BBQ and soft drinks will be provided and
parking will be in and around the location on the trading estate.
The aim is to meet new people in and around the scene in the West Midlands.
A rolling road day with a difference and the chance to meet your local VW
and performance tuning specialists. This is aimed at enthusiasts, run by
enthusiasts.

alright mate trying ringing you a couple of times today i only took your landline number to work. as above im very interested in getting my car mapped just wandering the usual like how much when would you be able to fit me in do you have any forge dv instock do you accept debit cards also my car is totally standard would i still expect around the 40hp increase are there much gains in 6th gear also is that where your based vw rescue cheers

Of course not, but its intended as a meet for VAG enthusiasts as well as some power runs. The free pig roast/bbq along with some great cars are there for everyone to enjoy, and its free. ;)

To clear things up, we are allowing approx 25 cars to run on the day. Then, depending on time, we will do as many as we can after that.
So, there are now no advance bookings. The whole day will be first come first served @£25 for 2 runs [B)]

Its is first come first served.
I have had to arrange it like this to avoid complication, as it is availble to many clubs.
Also, we have had strange results with Haldex equipped cars, due to the power@wheels. Power at the engine will be spot on though!
Come along and see how the days goes ;)

I got a list of things to do for most of tomorrow, if only i'd of seen this sooner i'd have had this at the top, gutted :cry:

we got there early doors to be greeted with a cup of coffee and bacon sandwich, had a look round the assortment of VW and one mental Jetta.
Everyone was really friendly and a scrummy pork bap was for lunch.
Will at P Torque took us over to the RR, excellent organisation, another disappointing result for me on the rollers, something definitly is not quite right and im determined to get to the bottom of it. Lee will no doubt come on winning the bragging rights but at least my car was cleaner.:whistle:.

just been PM`ing lee apprently he had about 14bhp more than you? Should get some logs up mate see whats going on under the bonnet, Alot of the LCR revo stg2 (with correct mods)boys only pulled 240bhp at the JKM RR day 2 weeks ago, there was a debate on weather the stg2 software is doing its job properly?
I for one am running stg2 on my ibiza with k03s and all the goodies yet only produced 197bhp. yet my logs showed everything doing what it should,, So we pretty much come to the conclusion it could be the MAP or how the cars where run on the day.

Its certinatly a kick in the teeth when you dont get your expected figures. I feel your pain lol.
I doubt its the map tbh, we are both running Revo Stage 2, there could be a few things that could be up with mine, and like i say will hopefully get round to looking at them in greater depth,

just seemed funny at JKM how 5 cars all running Revostg2 lost about 25bhp.
Also alot of the skoda boys have had the same problem.

I went with caney today, and it was a good day. Well organised, and good pork and stuffing batches, coffee etc.
He made me drive there and back (bugger) and I have to say it has the same problem as my car. It bloomin quick, but just doesn't scare me. I think I need 1000 hp. Lets face it 415hp in a tt is hardly underpowered, but I NEED MORE POWER.
But NOS is definately the way forward.
I went with caney today, and it was a good day. Well organised, and good pork and stuffing batches, coffee etc.

Hey Guys
Thanks for coming it was a great day, everything went well.
We didn't rap up until 5.30pm, cars kept coming from somewhere! We ran the Jetta and it made 230bhp exactly, which is perfect for the set up.
Caneys TT was great. Shame we left the NOS runs until the end as we were starting to suffer from heat soakI think it would have sailed over 415bhp earlier on. I had to get the back anchored up to a truck to make sure I wasn't going anywhere :whistle:

Bloody good morning out i think!! Had to pop back on here and see who teh black LCR's belonged to, was nice to have a quick chat with you guys! Really miss mine (just to rub it in mine was 274bhp with a ph1 CC map, before the Blueflame went on!! Thats me sticking up for you like i said i would! lol).
Anyway, the MK2 VR saw 228bhp which i was really chuffed with. Thats a 2.9, Schrick cams and Stealth remap. 15 brake up on last time.
yea it was a good day out, That old jetta was rapid:D,

Yes, the Jetta is a crazy machine. You certainly can't get lazy behind the wheel of it otherwise things can get ugly :ban:

Come on will SCN day and more than 2 weeks notice. Got to be worth it for your business.
How did your maps fair on the rolers? When you mapped my car you only had 1 RR run available for evidence of your mapping?

We have been mega busy this week, and there were 5 clubs there on Saturday, so the results are doing the rounds so each club organiser can post the bhp and torque of each vehicle.
Not all graphs were saved for speed on the day, but all figures will be posted ;)
