Your standard inlet manifold wont fit.

I dont think the map will need changing tho.

As the chap above says. Or the APR manifold with r32 TB.

Isnt it best to get your car fully working first? lol

This might sound like a pathetic question, but whats the build quality in the 007 like? As i'm after a bit of engine bay eye candy i want something that not only works well but looks good.

Gay i know. lol.

Neh shouldn't need mapping but for max benifit you should.

Just got my car up and running there with small port head ported and polished. Port sizes comparable to a std largeport.

Everything seems fine after 42 miles touch wood :)

You'll need a full head gasket set.

Is the large port head VVT?

TTS Roadsport

Any head can be VVT, you have just gotta put the bits in! Get rid of the VVT as its known to cause ussues.

PhilW

would i need ibiza cams or the large port cams?

goble
22-09-2007, 21:50
cams would be similar spec anyways not a great deal difference, not like lumpy rally cams.
But if youve got a large port head on it then more air will be entering as well as the tb your getting so more air = more fuel reqd so to get it running correctly without runing too lean you should get it mapped bear in mind the the air mass drawn will be greater.
is the ex port and int been enlarged???

h17och

22-09-2007, 22:06

goble
22-09-2007, 22:07
also change your dv to the cold side

h17och
22-09-2007, 22:08
ive been meaning to do cold side DV

how cum you siad i need it with big port?

currently have 3" maf

goble
22-09-2007, 22:11
its better with both small port and large port as it doesnt disturb maf to run weak causing it to burn out

h17och
22-09-2007, 22:50
currently getting hunting idle. been told its due to not having cold side.

that sound right?
