Very big job??Any major bodyshell alterations??? Any1 done it yet???
The engines are pratically the same as the Ibiza 20VT, slight differences with the fuel inlet direction, and the transmission is a 6 speed.
But otherwise the Leon is the same size engine, and its front wheel drive exactly the same as the Ibiza.
So the answer to this thread is No, unless its in the boot :D
Will the six speed box fit the ibiza cupra engine then?? any better??? is the leon engine stronger or easier to tune???
to be honest , the ibiza is far better suited to the 5speed in my opinion
leave it as it is , and plop ya money in a chip upgrade
and HOLD ON
I'd agree totally with that, stick to 5 speed.
6 speed though superb in the Leon isnt really suited to the Ibiza's power to weight ratios.
If you really want to have a massive gearing improvemnet, do it properly and go for a full custom Quife racing box.
