Hi,

I have an mk2 Ibiza with an aftermarket LG headunit fitted.

The system does the usual loosing stored settings etc when the ignition is tured off and I have read that this is due to the VAG cars having their ignition and live feeds to the stereo the wrong way round.

Basically I want to know if I can just swap round the 2 offending wires going into the ISO connector and if so how do I get the bloody things out as they seem to be stuck fast!

Thanks in advance

Could just cut and crimp the new ones together?

Or give it a good yank with a pair of pliers as far as I know...

Or a safer solution would be to buy an adaptor harness and butcher that.

Given that it was an aftermarket HU, I assumed he'd already got a new harness? Or is that not the case with the mk2s?:shrug::confused:
