what is the same?

so hopefully i will be buying a cordie 2ltr16vsx soon,so what off the ibiza cupra sport16v is the same?engine stuff i know is identical,but what about spring and dampers?presume cordie will have stiffer rears for the extra weight of the boot and what you can fit inside it?
back box i would think is different is the centre pipe the same as?
also noted the other day at the garage at work that the cordie has a heavier braking limit on the test rig roller type things?i should have wrote them down ,but confused as to the 2 different poundages of the 2 cars(sx16v V'S cupra sport16v)perhaps i read wrong or the table is wrong i'll post up the 2 ratings when i'm next in the garage.i presume its due to the weight difference etc as they use the same brakes :confused:

jase, all interior stuff is the same except for parcel shelf for obvious reasons, front suspenders is identical but i think rears may be a little different, i dunno.. rear discs etc are the same too.

fitted brakes today and noticed the uniroyals habve scrubbed a bit on the inside of the wing,when we fitted them me and me m8 rob compared the shoulder to the shite avons,the uniroyal has a shoulder like johnny bravo,it really over hangs the rim,not worried just wondered if yours had rubbed ever?not been able to see what they are like at the mo with being on call,rubbing them in abit and now new brakes so i have a few hundred miles before i can "pasty " them:cheers:

mine have a little rubbing marks on them but i put that down to them having a tough life, i dont hear any noises tho, depends how low your sitting too i suppose!

same here ,not heard nothng ,but seen a shiny bit when i did brakes
