Right, I'm (hopefully) picking my Leon Cupra up on Friday and the first thing I want to get swapped is this cacky Bosch dump valve. So, rather than pay for it myself, my mother's buying me it for Christmas (exciting Chrimbo present eh?). Can you let me know:
How much does it cost?
How easy is it to fit myself?
What's the best way to order it?
With relation to question 2, bear in mind I'm a cack-handed moron when it comes to engines and their related components, so it needs to be pretty straightforward if I'm to do it myself.

Cheers in advance Amethyst peeps!

1. the valve itself is £79.99 inc vat + postage OR fitting
2. if you can do up 2 hose clips , and squeeze a small one its easy (clips are included)
3. FAX 01242 586321 with your model/name/address/card number ,and i'll post it off first class ASAP

ps the top clip is best squeezed with an old BLUNT pair of cutters ,hands up who doesnt have a BLUNT pair :):)

any probs/questions call me : 01242 586313

what's the benefit of a forged dump valve as oposed to a standard unforged valve. Do they affect the SEAT warrenty. ?

Forge is the name of the company who make them....

That will tell you a bit more. As for affecting the warranty, depends on your dealer really......

if it helps with your dealer worries , we are just getting the 007 in stock

slighty smaller in body only , but in black , when fitted , you need to be looking PRETTY close to tell the difference from standard :D

but who wants a stealth mod anyway , remains to be seen

call for availability , very soon

having looked at the forge website i see that 006 is a piston type and 007 a diaphragm type. I think the standard bosch is a diaghraph one.

Which is best and and the fittings the same?

thanks

007 is a standard replica , in more ways than one , we currently use the 006 as it is piston type and is a bit more durable , and
easier to maintain in cases of problems , forge reccomend both , but as most people go for chips later on , we use the 006 , and to be honest the 006 is more asthetically pleasing :):):)
