Just a quick note to say that if anyone is considering buying a radar detector, DON'T. Get one of these instead. I bought one a while back, and it's so good, it's probably the best thing since sliced bread!

And I managed to have a conversation to a copper who stopped me at 11pm for doing 35 in a 30, about how fascinating it was!

perhaps a radar detector would have alerted you about the cops!!

Do you need to buy the extra aerial thats on the website? how much did you pay and from where?

I bought mine direct, www.morpheous.co.uk. Took about 10 days, but they're faster now I think.

You don't need the extra aerial unless you have a windscreen that doesn't let radio waves through. New BMWs and Mercs etc have them - you'll be fine if you drive a SEAT.

Mine cost £380. And it hasn't missed one camera yet. :-)

Try the one at www.originbluei.com it is cheaper and seems to have far more functions than the geodesy!, has anyone tried one of these?, if so what did they think?

I want one of these originbluei units i've decided, ive had enough of getting points on my license!, i got another 3 points last week from a gatso and they are really pi**ing me off!!, i was doing 62 in a 50 limit and i honestly though i was in a 60 limit, it was a wide open dual carriageway!! no reason at all for a speed camera!,

Anyone interested in a group buy?, these things go for £350 inc vat and delivery but might be cheaper if we buy together!,

Flapper, do you think there might be a discount to seatcupra members?, how do you manage to wangle that with people!!

I already have a radar detector but was after a radal trap locator too!!, the originbluei offer an affiliate program that would pay seatcupra.net £25 for everyone that bought one through this web site if you joined up!!, so if they wont offer a group buy scheme to me (i have emailed them) then i would buy one through this web site instead of going direct!

I got my Geodessy through a group buy on the EVO forum via Demon Tweeks (chap called Neil Pridding - email NeilP@demon-tweeks.co.uk).
I mailed him on 2nd October on behalf of a mate that wanted a Geodesy and he was still willing to supply them at a reduced price (£330 all in).
Paid for mine on the phone and got it a day later - top service.:D

Hope this helps.
