Question: There are diaphragm and piston dump valves. What are the pros and cons of each type and which is the best?

I suppose they both have different functionality hence the two types?

A piston valve has a nylon plunger that moves when you back off the pedal. And is generaly concidered the best to have if your running high boost.A diaphram uses a circular plate (rubber,nylon.kevlar.etc)They are better than standard but have a tendancy to rip if you run too much boost passed them.

The 006 is physically larger than the 007P, but the inlet/outlet pipes are identical in size.

007P in my books as its the more compact unit.
