in dash cd player and two pairs of mids and tweeters - http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/alpine-sxe1750s-p-2988.html?cadid=a70e8dd9256a3b2d8199eafa301a262d are cheap enough and probably as cheap as just buying tweeters.

I think that might have been the reason i ran new everything into the doors - couldn't be bothered to work out what went where and what came from what. If you're fitting a new headunit ( possibly) it might be worth thinking about it?

if you decided to replace just the tweeters and the HU, it's no biggie. HU is almost "Plug and Pray"....I mean play. For the tweeters, make sure you check the size of the old tweeters, especially the depth so that they fit in the same spot again...cause I didn't check and mine didn't fit.

ok cheers... how do the OEM tweeters fare against others, are they decent in their own right? or are there much better out there for same price?

Was that 60 quid for four or 60 quid for a pair?

£30 per pair isn't silly expensive although i think i'd rather replace all the speakers for £5 more per pair - especially since you need the door skins off to get at them :)
