Any/all suggestions welcome.

Good luck with the hunting. You may get a demonstrator if you're lucky.

My dealer didn't even have one of those to let me test drive before I bought mine. The wait time from new was 3 months.

I hope you find one as they are great fun. Once its chipped the fun factor goes up by 33%

mine is less than 6 months old and has less than 10k on the clock but unless you're offering SERIOUS money for the whole thing as it stands. You can't have it.

serious is taken to mean more than the cost of a new one + modding cost to get the new one back to the same way this one is.

Yes its a deal, thets say 13500 for new one + oh just say 3000 no 4000 for the modds.

Lets just call it a nice round 17500 shall we, i am feeling generous...

Thats euros or is it lira, cant remember!!

No thanks, they are slower, less fuel efficent twice as much to insure and well, just not as cool....

Nothing like blasting past a 325Ci and seeing his face...eh guys

You'll never see his face cos its obscured by the smoke you're leaving behind you.

You will easily overtake him though.

Even standard in the real world driving to/from work yes the Diesel is quicker and more relaxing...I know have run both and am currently running a petrol and diesel car.

Chipped then the Beezer really does kick butt. But the same still applies to the fuel and insurance ..Beezer TDI group 7+45mpg Cupra 16 30mpg if trying to keep up with chipped beezer...No contest really.

Most of my driving does not revolve around redlining it everywhere hence the relaxed tdi thrum!!

Just wish it was a 5 cylinder!! Would sound soo much better.
soon!

I agree with you on the Insurance and fuel efficiency advantages but not on the performance issue. Without checking the figures, here is what I am saying:

A standard Beeza Cupra will post faster 0-60 times against a standard Beezer TDI

A chipped Beeza Cupra will post faster 0-60 times against a chipped Beezer TDI

I dont want to get into a 'my car is faster than yours' argument but Im just stating my opinion.

Peace

Hey the petrol car will be faster 0 - 60 which is a useless measure really. The Diesel will be much closer once moving say 30 - 70. I had a MR2 Roadster before my Ibiza 130 (get it saturday) and it could do 0 - 60 in 6.8 secs but in gear times are quicker in the Ibiza which is much more important in real life driving.

Also not wanting to start an argument about it, but my opinion is that in real world driving (not track, not 0-60 time trials) the TDi should be as fast if not faster with in gear times like 30-70mph.

If you take into account the fact that both the standard and chipped tdi will have more torque than petrol variant in either form then it becomes believable.

Suspension and brakes might not be on par for race track driving, but then how many people do drive their cars on track.

Is that with or without the coilpacks;)

I agree with the rest of the guy's for normal everyday driving the TDI is faster. Better than that is the fact that you always have tons of torque so you shift alot less.

Right this is my thread and i dont want to get into the Petrol Diesel thing we all know Derv is best. lolsss

Let just say i prefer Diesel my it just suits my driving style ("what style" i hear Leo saying)
