I'm not one for using petrol addatives, but I do like to give the car a yearly fuel system clean through. I normaly use the Slick 50 fuel
fuel system cleaner, you know the one that shows the before and after injectors on the box. Well this time I opted for the Nitrox power boost or something like that. It comes in an orange bottle (can't miss it). It claims to be a complete fuel system cleaner and upper cylinder lubricant. It also makes boasts about boosting power by 10% yeh yeh. Load of crap I thought, but stick it in anyway.
Filled up with a full tank of petrol and added the Nitrox, looks very similar to Nitro fuel used to power radio controlled planes btw, anyway about 50 miles later I stated to notice a power increase, thought nothing of it until after 150 miles when I noticed quite a major increase in power. I'm still on the same tank of fuel and can't belive the amount of extra power, its like a different car.
Just thought I'd share this with you guys as I was extremely impressed. I presume it boosts the octane rating :)
Next time you go to a track day or 0-60 timings, would definatly recomend it !
