View Full Version : Leon Cupra 2.0 TFSi Remap Done
Had my car remapped at P-torque this Yesterday .Plot to follow but figures are 318bhp/310lb ft. Pulls well in all gears and very smooth.
So thanks Will for a great service and anyone else considering a remap you wont go far wrong with P-Torque.

whats your schedule like and how long does it take to set up on the car? also do you offer a switchable service for the ability to turn it on / off ? is it detectable by the manufacturer ?

Hi There
Just send me some days and times that suit you, and we can get you booked in.
The map is flashed via your OBD port. Its not customer switchable, but in 4 years, we have had no customers/warranty issues with our maps :)
that's awesome figures for a near stock 2.0 tfsi. i didn't realise it was possible.
what's the different in mk 1&2 for the std one to have 236bhp from sub 200bhp?

It's just a far better engine, the head design allows for better flow top end, helped by being 16 valve , and the the direct fuel injection comes into its own too!
I want one also! ;)

It seems to hold its torque very well across the revs vs REVO at least.
I am really torn between all the different tuners as all have plus and minus points, and I cannot choose as a result.
P-Torque Plus Points - Seems to have the best overall graph I have seen so far for a Cupra with a progressive power curve and a nice flat torque curve with no spike or drop off like REVO, and torque is maintained at a high level over the rev range. Price
P-Torque Negative Points - I am in North Scotland and have no chance of getting it. Also it is not switchable which is an absolute must for me, couple of cars with emissions light problems on this forum with this map?

Most people who remap will go stage two eventually anyway (new complete exhaust & sports Cat) in which most tuners will map out emission light warnings.
I've got APR on my lcr and love it but that said if i had a 2.0T I'd probably use P torque as the price is right, good coms using the forum and the graphs look spot on. Don't worry about emisson light tosh. Just my 2pence.

lol
I will say it again though, no P-Torque maps have caused any emission lights, I think this comment needs changing

My car doesn't have any emissions problems and mine was done a week ago.
The only thing my map did was throw up an old weak coil pack due to the weather.
Changed it and now its fine, back to a nice rate of power
