Yeah, I know, the dreaded JCT (from what I have gathered from other posts).
However, anyone have any experience of their Yeadon dealer?
I have ordered a Leon Cupra R from them, which should be here in around 6 weeks. :lol2:
The sales guys have been fab so far: Good deal on the R, returning phonecalls when I leave messages, generally very helpful and obliging.
But:
What I would like to know is whether anyone has experience of the after-sales and servicing.
A friend says that his company uses them for servicing company fleet vehicles (he actually pays the bills for them) and says that they are OK.
Care to share some experiences?
Many thanks.

Never had much experience of them to be honest although I did test drive a Cupra R there.
Have used Bradford myself...whenever I tried to book a service with Yeadon I always got told it would be about a month....:(
They seem to swap sales staff more often than I swap shirts before a Friday night out....Its a thankless task being a poser but someone has to do it!:D

I bought my car at Yeadon.
Had a couple of minor problems. They seem to do the job OK and write nice big reports to tell you what is going on. The only problem with the service dept. is the very long wait time, and longer if you want a courtesy car. I too had to wait about a month to get my seat belt fixed.
I am now waiting for some coil packs. Good thing about that is that they seem to have booked my car in as requiring 4 coil packs :) Will check to confirm when I get the car back.
IMO, much better than JCT bradford. I would never drive down that road again never mind pull into the garage. JCT Leeds better. Servicing is expensive though. I will use Ted Johnson, Barnsley, unless JCT can do summit with the price.

I am removing almost all traces of JCT from my car as i have had a nightmare with their service dept (Sticker Lane - Bradford). Dont know what Yeadon service dept. is like, and would be tarnishing them with the same brush if I started to rant...
My car is being serviced as I write this and I take my car (although a slight inconvenience) to Ted Johnstons in barnsley.
I cannot recommend them enough as they (although new to the SEAT franchise) want to fix the car and seem genuinely interested in sorting the problems that you might have.
My view is to not touch the legend that is JCT (even with one of those barge poles).I have been stung too many times..

Cheers guys.
I'll let you know what happens if I have to get any probs rectofied on the Leon after arrival.
I will probably give Yeadon the benefit of my first tries, and take it from there.
Thanks for your comments !
