dont trap your thumb in the door - it hurts like f*ck! I did it tonight and have split my nail right across at the bottom . The door shut fully rather than bouncing off my thumb and the gap between the door and the frame is not very big!
Excellent. Would love to see a RR after all those TDIs:D :D

Thanks guys, i should take delivery in 2-3 weeks. Its down to how long it takes me to get the cash together.
Platinum is definatly the colour.
Its just a 7 week old demo model, so its nearly brand new, 1700 miles on the clock.
It will prob be keept pretty standard (on the outside anyway ;) )
Its a great deal so i just couldnt say no..
Just need to start thinking who is the closest revo dealer..

Was it bought from a dealer?.
im asking because im considering buying one.. and getting one from a dealer would be better for the finance options...

There are plenty ofex demo ones about right now. But they seen to be on the high side price wise. I got mine an ex demo 2003 7 week old for £11.6k. Only done 1700miles
Platinum Grey too...
Hopefuly less that 2 week to pick it up!!
hmm, will have to check out autotrader... the dealer i visited today (Richard Corts) said they dont do demos, because the majority of the people come down from motorpoint wanting a testdrive, then buying from motorpoint..
they had a light blue one in the showroom.. very nice, except i think the seats look a bit undersupported.. my Clio 1.2 sport has much better seat support!.
so do you think they would still do a decent finance package on a demo car?.. apparently they have a low interest offer with only a 10% deposit!...

Yes and if you buy before then end of March you get one year's free insurance. I actually used another firm who got it from a dealer down the road from me. The nearest dealer would not come down below 13.2K so did not get my business. I think I got a good deal, quote the price to your local dealer, if you have any trouble matching then I'll give you details of who I got it from.
P.S. Tins.co.uk have then for £12.6K in Platinum Grey so you can quote that too.
Harvey.
cheers.. ill see what i can do...
just a shame im a couple of yrs off the free insurance tho (it is 25 for the sport isnt it?)
no problem.. still cheaper than a 75bhp clio.... go figure!!

Not very pleasant..my sympathy to anyone tortured with thumbscrews...done it at work a couple of times myself ... sliding the factory door shut..
I found getting a small drill and putting holes in the nail relieves the pressure and stops that throb throb throb throb.....

Fortunately (!?) it split the nail right across which relieved the pressure - the guy at A&E said they would have had to have drilled a hole in otherwise (it is gonna take a few months for the break to grow out though). At least the bone wasnt broken - and I can just about use my thumb to take the handbrake off again :)
