I've just been upgraded to revo from APR EMCS (optimax) program, and I want to tell everyone that the revo software is a giant leap forward. I went for the SPS1 with stock and optimax programs, and the difference from APR is very noticable. The power delivery is much smoother acrosss the rev range, and the car feels much more powerful now. The torque is simply amazing. If I switch back to stock prog now, the car feels like the brakes are stuck on and I know that is simply not the case - the car was fast anyway!

Overall I am very pleased with the upgrade, and would recommend this mod unreservedly. The work was carried out in a thoroughly professional manner and the staff at revo were all very friendly - thanks again Richard  (I was smiling all the way home!)

If you are thinking about revo but wondering if it is really worth it then my advice is don't delay any longer, go for it, because you won't regret it for a minute.

Congrats lozza,

Any idea what BHP and torque you're getting now?

Cheers

Not really, but the guys at revo suggested it would be around the 225 mark (maybe more) - it certainly feels like a big improvement over the APR software, which was supposed to be @210, although I did get the 4 bar fuel pressure regulator fitted as well. The most impressive change is in the torque, which is so much smoother and more powerful. I am currently checking on fuel consumption, and will post the results after I fill up!

Also think the SPS1 will only be used to switch over for servicing, as it is so much better in performance mode. If it wasn't for warranty worries, I would not have bothered with the switch.

I am now wondering if a dynatwist induction kit will deliver the goods, but £170 seems a lot of money for a tin box and a cotton filter.... I am still not 100% on induction kits. If I could get a 'money back if not satisfied' then I would definitely go for it.
