What Fuel type should I use for my car, picking it up tomorrow and wanna know if it can be run on normal u/l fuel or whether it has to be Super.
Also does anyone know if the immobiliser fitted to the Ibiza 20v T Cupra is thatcham approved??
By the way, the car is an Ibiza 20v T Cupra with Oettinger 210BHP Conversion.

Super UL.
Especially if Oettinger'd.
It will run on 95UL (mine did) but it much prefers SUL
Optimax only is what I ran when I was Oettinger'd.

Your best off running Super.
I just got a Oettinger 210 converted Cupra a week ago and due to the fact you can not buy anything other than 95 octane around where I live I have to add some Octane boost (which actually works out cheaper than filling the car with Super if I could get it).
BTW you'll enjoy the Oettinger Cupra, I know I did. But just one thing the 210 conversion is really around the 190BHP mark. Does yours have the Miltek exhaust as well?
Oh ya and I strongly advise that you get the brakes upgraded. Thats the first mod I'm adding they are ordered and should be here next week and Bill before you ask they are coming from you :).

AndyGregs that's not the silver one from SMC is it?
saw one of that description on their forecourt the other week, then waiting to be PDI'd earlier this week...
Yeah I saw that one, 18" wheels, looked very smart. Sounds like the one at SMC as the salesrep told me it had 210bhp when I was having a nosey at it a few weeks ago.

The standard alarm immobiliser for mk3 ibiza cupra 20vt is
thatcham cat2 approved.
see the thatcham website (can't) quite remember the site:dunno:
had a absolute nightmare with tesco insurance over this...
6 months into cover they told me my theft cover was invalid,
after sorting out this problem at the start!!
sued them and got £40.:devil:

Sure isn't he the only man for that sort of job over here :). As for when I get them sure no rush I'm still waiting on some parts for the clutch so the Cupra aint going anywhere till that gets sorted (I had the car one day and f$£%ing clutch went :( ).
Dont forget lift with your knee's not your back :)...
