REvO,
I want to buy SPS1 for my seat ibiza tdi 130 PD but I've few questions.
If I understand the system, I bought the SPS1, plug in the Diagnostic Port and the car is chipped ?
The SPS1 works with battery ?
You need to by the software first. The sps1 is just a switch that allows you to change back to standard configuration.

So What is required Rage ?
Softwares, SPS1, portable computer, cables ?
Initial programming has to be undertaken by an authorised dealer. Using a laptop, Revo software and special cable.
First off Revo, or one of their dealers, need to flash your ECU with their uprated program which resides in unused blocks on the ECU. Then Using the sps1 module you can change the program which is selected.
I am led to believe that its just a question of setting the sps1 switch to 0 or 1 and plugging it in.
Software @ £499 + VAT plus,
SPS 1 @ £149 + VAT
Then all you do is plug in the SPS1 box when you whant to change from stock program or REVO program and vica versa.
I am going to get my SPS1 maybe next week or the week after when I have got time from fitting the new kitchen so I'll let you know how it goes.
Damn you beet me this time Simon

I send my Ecu to Revo, They flash it
And I must buy a SPS1 if I want to switch to stock mode or perfomance mode
Write ?
Yes, unless REVO have set up a dealer in Belgium. Try talking to PRC he lives in Portugal and has the same dilema as yourself and is sending his ECU to REVO for upgrading. Alternatively why not come over here for a long weekend and make a little holiday out of it. There are plenty of ferries coming over.

Could You give the price in € include VAT for :
- Ecu Flashing by Revo ?
- SPS1 ?
If I do this I will send by private post my Ecu to Revo.
Do they make a best price for SeatCupra.Net members ?

Flashred the story is:
1st you need to get the bosch part# and ECU number on over to Richard. Both number are on the ECU.
He'll tell you what's available and the price for what you want. Best to discuss timing with him as well. Stick it in box and send. Richard told me he'd having it back out same day. So I figure (in my case) send it out by wensday morning = having it back by friday (latest). Saturday Brrrrrrrrmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!:D
Price is as aceman mentioned
Software @ £499 + VAT = 857 euros
SPS 1 @ £149 + VAT = 256 euros

 1113 €
+ private Post price :confused2
You don't have to get the sps1 straight away. You could buy it separate at a later date.

The price is a bit steap but I guess it's worth it. I'm not picking up the SPS 1 now, but will do so in the future. Richard said the code for my ECU should be ready by March 1st??
:dance2:
:D :D :D :D :D :D
Richard, please tell me I can send the ECU up.

I like the SPS1 module because I'm far away of Revo and if I want to return to standard or performance mode that's the only way to do it.

try to search my ecu n° :confused2
there is a N° on a black box, I think is that box pointed by the arrow.
nope wrong one. its on the other side of the car and is silver. postioned directly behind your airbox

If I want to see Ecu n°, I should remove the airbox ?
no It should be visible without having to remove the airbox. You may need to remove the strut brace though. When I had mine done it was before the brace was fitted.
Revo will correct me if I'm wrong but I think they only want the 2 letter code that denotes what type of chip it is Mine is a DQ if I remember correctly.

Thanks Rage ! I see it, it's a sticker on a silver box !
and the 2 last letter code finished by DQ
You can see it with the strut brace.
Richard request both numbers. The part# is 3 sets of 3 digits + 2 letters. Mine is 038-906-019FK. The version is located in the on the lower left side of sticker. Something like 028-010-***

What happens if my Seat garage reset data of the chip with the diagnose ? (exemple for airbags/abs problems)
You loose your Revo Software ?
No, it stays safe, even if the ECU is powered down for a long time.
I've had my airbag light reset loads of times since it was chipped.

with Revo software,
0 defect on the connection of the Seat diagnose computer ?
If you're asking if the software interferes with the SEAT diagnostic computer then no, not as far as I know.
The remap code is not detectable by SEAT when they connect the copmuter either.
Finally got the ok to send up the ECU.:D I'm a happy camper right now, so if there's any terrorists amongst us:
I kindly request you not shoot down any DHL airplanes flying overhead. :p :uzi:

No they work with UPS I think. My bike shop works with DHL. The cars at my local dealer, but I took out the ECU. I need him to get the cruise control to work when it gets in.
