drivers is a shop in glasgow centre. sells, alloys, filters, ICE, fit powerflow exhausts etc. got decent sized place.

as for my living room. it's not badly sized, south side of glasgow, very close to M77.

another option would be my friends new body shop business. they mainly do body kits, but sell all sorts of tuning stuff as well. they are looking for new busness.

You might stay with me, but you aint getting past boyo :D

I don't want to be stuck behind that smoke belching beezer, and not able to see where i'm going. Get a particulate filter fitted and i might not mind so much ;)

Any news yet ? we are waiting, just anticipating

yeah but you really need to learn how to drive first. I can't see a chipped TD beating the R though

not necesarily beating, but probably equaling

I've overlaid the graphs to show just how different the driving styles will have to be to get them going fast. With the diesel you'll be changing gears much earlier as you run out of power just as the R is getting into it's stride.

I imagine if the R is a bit of a handful in the wet when chipped, that the Beezer will be impossible with that sharp bhp & lb/ft curve all but over by 2500rpm.

It should be noted that the coloured graph is the one from Forge site, and is an indication of the R power curves, but is not actually taken from the R. Its from a 4WD car with same engine so the R will probably be similar but not the same. We are all still waiting for official Revo power graphs for the cars. :(

Edited to thank RB5 for use of his RR graphs, hope you don't mind the use for comparison

can't see the R losing really. maybe the inital acceleration but not once you get going.

I raced a brabus tunned Merc 320CDi at crail this has 240hp and 400lb ft peak torque. he would creap up on me but then he has to change gear but I still keep going. so when I changed gear he would pull a wee bit back. there is no substitute for a petrol car revs.

Not so good against a leon R but I can keep up with Nobbers Beezer cupra R up to 120MPh when I change up to 6th he start to pull away, but not by much and not as quickly as he might like.
