Is it possible to change the standard CD autochanger with an MP3 version?
The current setup is all oem btw.
OK, seeing as no-one seems to know the answer to this one I'll try another angle :D
If I replace my Standard Aura head unit with a JVC KD SC601 is there anything else I need to do other than buy a fascia adaptor and plug it all in?
As the JVC is MP3 I wouldn't be bothered about the CD multichanger and would just remove it. It's just I have been offered the JVC unit for £25 and wonder if it's worth buying and changing over. I really like the sound quality in the car as it is and dont want to lessen it with this mod, but I really miss the MP3. I'm guessing the current quality in sound is coming more from the 8-speaker system in the V5 rather than anything brilliant the Aura HU is doing.
Any recommendations are very welcome :think:
