cordi sx in bengal yellow,45k miles R reg, spoke to the guy tonight.
its in aberdeen but hes willing to meet me halfway, used to have a wrc rear boot spoiler which has been removed leaving some holes in the boot,if get the holes filled meself,he'll let it go for 4.1k,just wondering what sort of life its had as it has an induction kit ,its on lowered springs too, sounds good but it may have been driven by one of us lot:D

Only fly I see in the ointment is the meeting him halfway thing.
Would always advise never to purchase away from the owners location...could be stolen....also...would you travel 200 miles to meet someone and sell your car unless you were desperate to get rid for some reason.
The Cordy drives nice..if a little peaky on power delivery..drove one once to see wether I wanted a 16v Beeza which they didn't have a demo of.
If it had the evo wing does it still have skirts? or a front bumper?
are they staying?
:)
was thinking this myself mark, aparently he's a car dealer a place called KINKER cars gonna see if they have a web site, the mrs really likes the colour, but i'm more inclined to hang on a bit and see if one comes up a little closer, with no holes in the boot, and not 237 miles away.all this relying on someone getting back to me tomorow with some cash for mine(touch wood fingers xxxxx)

mark 16v isnt really peaky, my dyno showed 115 lb/f available from 3k til a few rpm shy of 7k! nice and flat curve if you ask me,
jase, ask one of our members in aberdeen to have a look at it and prove out that its genuine. Spoilers are broken easily by accident and little scumbags, 45k is a nice number to get the (16 quid) timing belt changed tho. If you have a day off soon mate, have a train up there and drive it back!! i know i would! if i really liked it.
btw bengal is gorgeous, only one other colour id rather have....see sig!! :D

Fecking frustrating trying to sell up there though; I know 'cos I grew up 40 miles south of Aberdeen. When I sold my first 911 I drove it down south to let people see it. Eventually it went to a buy in Guildford who gave me £250 over asking price to own it.
I agree caution is a good idea but it isn't necessarily dodgy.

What's wrong with a WRC spoiler :)
WHAT DO YOU MEAN, driven by one of us lot? :D
If it was closer, I'd be tempted - if it's just lowered with the standard shocks it might be a bit bouncy on the ride. especially if it's running 17 inch wheels.:hammer:
Finally getting some stainless steel KW coilover suspension fitted - Spax can't take the car and do a kit until summer :(
