I'll give you no more than £5.

For the short back and sides.

Why is that hairdressers earn more than £30 an hour!?!?

Hmmmm, didn't have you down as a Vauxhall man Stu.

I actually think its quite nice, especially in the black - but I dont envy you cleaning it as my grey is a PITA. The new Vauxhall Astra is a far improved car, and one of the better mid sized cars I have driven.

How does the extra weight of the mechanic hood affect it - do you notice it at all?

ha hmmm clean is planned for once a week - but we will see eh ...

As for the weight... Well thats where I have to say the 'sport' button takes good care of the ride.... It can be a bit tail happy without this mode on if your on a country lane for instance roof down - enjoying your self ..... - 'Sport' on and everything is CRISP in response.... ;)

What exactly does a "sports" button actually do? Is it like a Warp Speed 9 button on the Starship Enterprise?

Nah.... tightens the suspension, throttle response increased .... and the steering is more precise..

Almost feels that it unlocks 200bhp as well, instead of the original 150 .... Mind you once its bedded in I'm going to confirm my thoughts and RR it.. I wonder if it has more....

It's interesting, these cars with a "performance" / Sports button.
The latest BMW M5 is reviewed as having a similar button, for a more 'extreme' ride!

Makes you wonder, at the factory, why don't they just calibrate the car to perform at the 'sport' setting constantly, and you can do away with the Sports button?

Suppose it makes pressing that button more of a thrill / unique / exciting.
And being able to switch it off with the press of a button helps preserve wear and tear?

Have to say that the Eos just did'nt do it for me, unless its in Black, BUT not at the price they want for it with all the bits we wanted, hence the far more sexy (sporty look) of the Astra TT ... But cheers anyway ./
