lol
I've been with Elephant for over 4 years and they've been fine (though I've never needed to make a claim), they use call centres but I've not minded as the operators I've dealt with seem to have a decent level of English. I'll be leaving them though after this years insurance runs out as I can get cheaper elsewhere if they won't match quotes.

im 33 with a 210lcr full no claims they gave me a quote of £388:D
You should also try bell direct online, I found then cheaper!
I was with Elephant for a few years, including one claim with them, only reason I changed was that I found a cheaper quote and they couldn't or wouldn't match it.
The claim was handled pretty well, it dragged on a little bit (due to third party finding excuses not to be blamed for rear-ending me), and they could have kept me informed a little bit better, but they sorted the repairs to my car out very well. Quick and easy, sorted me a courtesy car with no troubles etc. The legal department seemed to keep fighting my corner but in the end the lack of independent witnesses or evidence meant it couldn't really go either way so they suggested I just settled for 50/50.
cheers for all the feed back:D

Was with elephant last year, no problems, tho they want silly money for mods.
I've been with Elephant/Admiral for 4 years. As mentioned above they are part of the same group, and I play one off against the other every time. They have both been several hundreds cheaper each renewal than any other insurer but this was when I had little NCB - I notice that nowadays with 4 years NCB the difference is less noticeable. One thing to make sure you do is requote every renewal on the website, and also get a quote from confused (owned by admiral). Both companies seem happy to negociate if you get a better quote elsewhere. Having said that, I've not had to make a claim yet so this is purely from a cost not service, perspective.
