TDI 130 - Running in guidelines

Hi chaps

I can't seem to find them now, but someone once posted the running in guidelines for the PD 130 on here, taken from the manual.

Can anyone point me in the right direction, or post them again ?

IIRC the running in period was 1,000 miles, being less restrictive as you get toward 1,000 ???

Just trying to work out how long it'll take me to run it in !

My run ins are usually 3 weeks long = 3000 miles.

1st 1000 - keep it under 3k rpm. Easy braking as well since you want to bed in the pads.

2nd 1000 - let it goes on the downhills past 3k rpm. Never flooring it, but smooth acceleration.

last 1000 - once and a while start nailing it.

Done!
