Yes, I think its nearing...

I have a 2003 1.9 TDI pd130 Ibiza

My OEM clutch has had enough abuse - after a year of not knowing my power output I drove it like a normal pd130 would have been... until September this year I attended a RR day with yourselves and got 165bhp and 296lb/ft!

Its the latter of the two figures i'm worried about, now I did speak to one of the lovely girls behind the desk about a clutch just in case but have since forgotten the price!

I need prices for:

Fitting inc please

2294 003 341 - DMF Uprated
3182 997 901 - Bearing Uprated (csc)
88 3082 999 753 Cover Uprated
88 1864 999 980 Organic Clutch Plate

Think that's it?

The Uprated DMF is if my one is buggared! Better to put it in and be ready for a few more £££!

Thanks in advance!

Adam

Hi Adam,

Thank you for your enquiry. I do remember speaking to you at the RR day.:)

A SACHS Performance clutch to include DMF & bearing (part numbers you listed) including fitting is £1107.46 inc VAT

A Standard SACHS Clutch including DMF & new bearing and fitting is £692.45. inc VAT

All parts are available and we would need the car for the best part of a day.

Kind Regards
Kate

Ok, got some silly (maybe obvious questions)

I'm not looking to go silly on mods, maybe a FMIC and an Exhaust after the clutch, will your upgrade be suitable or do I need the race one I was supplied numbers for??

What torque does the clutch take, the performance one and the one you offer?

Thankyou :D

Hi Adam,

SACHS standard clutches are very good and normally can hold more torque than what they are rated at. We fit these in most remapped cars with simalar figures to yours and have not had a problem with them. If however you drive your car like you've stole it:lol: the uprated clutch may be better for you.

Either of these clutches should be fine for the other mods you are considering, but bear in mind the standard clutches are better for everyday driving with the uprated clutch you will find you have a slightly heavier pedal and a more snatchy feel on the clutch.

Hope this helps
Kate :)

Right... glad that's sorted! :D

Does the tracking get done too?

Now if the dmf doesn't need changing how many £££ do I need to give you?

Put it this way - if it doesn't need a dmf I will get you to fit a Milltek cat back non-res... can you sort me that price??

A whole day is no problem, i'll go for a wander... :)

Hi,

No need to do the tracking after the clutch.

If you don't need a DMF then the standard SACHS price including fitting is £399.32 inc VAT. :)

The Milltek cat-back non-resonated is £338.76 inc VAT (this will be fitted for free if purchased via us). Milltek do offer a choice of tail pipes either Oval or Twin Jet. We dont stock either if these so it will need to be ordered in.

Kind Regards
Kate
