Anyone who wants 280bhp out of their Leon/Beeza take a look at APR. For £4k you get 280 and there's a 310 conversion too... :devil: :devil:

If you want centre stage though you'll have to get the peco big bore fitted!

not forget the engine rebuilds every couple of thousand miles with BHP like that from 1.8
I won't be having a280hp not bhp i might add ......i reckon 230-240 should be safe.
i thought 280hp was about 277bhp.... they are almost the same!
BTW, SJBSport say that the 1.8T can handle 300bhp reliably and can be made to produce upto 450bhp but at this power it would requie a rebuild after each 'session' and the engine would have a MAX life of 10,000 miles!!! Wont be doing that then!
I wouldn't mind going for about 260bhp.
i really really wish someone done 4wd for the Ibiza! :(

Ive just purchased a 310HP Kit for a Leon for a buddy from www.vwturbo.com. Its only US$2600 but you need to modify the downpipe and intercooler pipes. We dont mind since both are already custom made jobs. They suggest adding a large intercooler which We have already so its relatively inexpensive.

For some reason I think tunners in Europe are overcharging for these mods.
Once we try it on his Leon i´ll probably do it to my Ibiza and sell my K04.

well Guys if u go to network54.com/Hide/Forum/51354 its the forum of the www.hardcorevw.com site, u look there for Billy.T his car is a Golf IV with the 1.8T engine, he has the RebicIV and 4 extra injectors, a FMIC and a Chip he is able to run 22psi on his Garrett T3 70 trim, and he had 344WHP he outran a 600 bike and was able to race vette with 582horses. now on stock internals it shows that the 1.8T engine is bullet proof.:devil:
Looking at the APREurope site, would I be right in thinking that the 280bhp conversion also add Cruise Control to your Ibiza? And it allows you to select between your original and apr chips from the cockpit?

PS. Shame these tuners don't quote real performance figures from cars they have done in the past. In fact, have they done any Ibizas in the past?
