Ive been with AF for about three years now, received my renewal notice this morning, Premium looks about right, but only when you read into the documentation you notice that they are not offering renewal with your exisiting Insurer, in my case NIG, but welcome to Trinity Lane Insurance Company Ltd !!! never heard of them, and only when you read further on, you notice that their registered office is in Malta.

So, make sure you check who you are renewing with, because they definitly are not advertising the fact.

A quick search on google , and it looks like AF are offering this company to everyone.

found this on www.insurancefraudbureau.org

Heritage opens in Malta
Heritage Insurance Management (HIMM) formed two underwriting companies
in Malta, Trinity Lane Insurance Co and Setanta Insurance Co. Both companies will be underwriting motor insurance and personal accident cover. Trinity Lane has entered the UK market and will be supported by a number of UK specialist brokers. Setanta Insurance Co. Ltd will be focusing on the Irish market primarily insuring Commercial Vehicles. The Malta operation will be supported by the Group’s Guernsey office, which acts for insurers and reinsurers in international
markets.

Seems fine to me, they appear to be a new underwriting company, they are all legit and registered.

If you have any concerns give your broker a ring, let us know how you get on.

Ive spoken to AF ( Who are my broker) and they confirm just that, authorised and regulated to trade so thats why they recommend them.

Would prefer to stay with an Insurer i know tbh. Toss up between Greenlight and staying with AF insisting they use NIG,
