Help - unlocking a radio

After battery removal, I needed to enter radio code. I cocked it up and the unit is now locked in SAFE mode

Having no luck in unlocking despite a call to SEAT and the advice of the local dealer. I have a 2001 Toledo V5 with a satnav unit

Any suggestions would be appreciated

leave it on as long as possible



usually 2 hours but seen em take all night before now

Ok, so i leave the key in the ignition but i do not turn it at all, and just turn the radio unit on?

Is there any other way to do this?
