10k Service

How much is the 10K service for the Leon FR Tdi - 57 Reg please, with my discount card? This will be coming up in the near future.
Oh and just out of interest what 'upgraded' car would I typically get whilst waiting for mine?

Presuming your car is a Model 07 year car which it should be the cost of the service would be £128.18 this includes all oils, parts, labour and vat. Your SCN / Ted Johnson Discount card would then reduce this by 10%:)
The upgraded courtesy car would something like a Leon FR, Altea Freetrack, Ibiza Cupra, Leon DSG etc it depends what is available on that day.
This is only available to SCN / Ted johnson members and replaces our normal SEAT Ibiza, Hyundai Getz, Fiat Grande Punto loan cars.

Just wondering if the price you just quoted for the 10k service on the 07 TDI FR would be the same for A 56 TDI FR ? , am i right in assuming it would be

The reason i ask this is that i have just paid £190 for my 10k service , if this is the case u can look forward to having my business in the future

SEAT UK have introduced a different service content on 07 or later model vehicles to pre 07 models. The easiest way to check is to see if your chassis number has a 07 in the number.
If your Altea is an 07 then the price would have been £134.32 less the SCN / Ted Johnson Discount.
All pricing is done through SEAT menu pricing, it should automatically select the correct service from your reg / chassis number. Also the service sheets are now printed from the workshop 5051 machine, this will print off the relevent service inspection sheet detailing the work content it will automatically select the correct pre/post 07 service from the chassis number.
The table below shows the difference on pre 07 to post 07.

The example is based on a Leon TDI FR but this is reflective across the range when comparing service requirements on the year model. Please note the service content is different and some of our customers still prefer to have the larger pre 07 service. But to maintain your warranty on post 07 model cars you need only have the the smaller service.

Post 07 Model 1st Annual Service £128.18 (£115.36 SCN / TJ Price):)
Pre 07 Model 1st Annual Service £181.64 (£163.47 SCN / TJ Price:)

Post 07 Model 2nd Annual Service £143.45 (£129.10 SCN / TJ Price):)
Pre 07 Model 2nd Annual Service £204.55 (£184.09 SCN / TJ Price:)

In effect SEAT UK have reduced the 2 year servicing costs by around £115 or if you use the SCN / Ted Johnson service discount scheme this increses to a saving of around £142. In addition to this we give a wash and vac foc and give you an upgraded courtesy car foc or give you a half day membership at a private health club while we look after your car!!
This has got to represent good value for money guys, we now have well over 100 SCN / Ted Johnson card holder members using us for service & parts and sales & a big thank you to you all:clap:

I rang up to book my car in for a service earlier and im booked in for a service on the 23/2/08.
I enquired about the cost and I am sure I was told £178 (not including scn discount) yet the price quoted to me before was £128 including my discount. See my post for 10K service. Can you confirm which is correct please. My reg is a 57 Plate so I will qualify for the reduced Seat pricing structure wont I??

I too am looking to get a 10k service for my Leon 57 FRTDI and have completed your online application for the discount card. How soon could I get my car in at the sort of prices on this thread?

Will be at Ted Johnsons early saturday morning tho, dropping mine off for a service and hopefully picking up a decent courtasy car.
