Celica GT-4/Supra Insurance

Hey all.

I can get a <£1000 quote on a mods-declared Celica GT-4, running at 310BHP.

Yet when I try get a quote on a Supra SZ.. standard, I can't get anyone to entertain me at a realistic price.

Why? Any clues?

Is the Celica an import? The non turbo supra's (sz's) are pretty much the same to insure as the turbo import ones.

UK spec supra different story, I got a quote a couple of hundred quid lower than a mk3 1.8t ibiza cupra!

Yeh, it's a ST205 WRC Jap import :)

I'll try find a nice UK Spec Supra and see what my insurance quote comes out at.
