Has anyone put a Nokia car kit into a car with sat nav without drilling any holes in the dash.

Also I am also trying to find some smoked side repeater lenses that are direct replacements for the std ones.

TIA

I don't have sat-nav, but I have a metal bracket that I asked for when I got the car kit installed which slots in next to the stereo and hence no holes.

I can post a pic later tonight/tomorrow if you like to show you what it looks like?

I have fitted a phone kit in a V5 Toledo with SatNav without resorting to drilling any holes. You can buy a standard fit bracket from the Dashmount website, which will screw into an existing hole at the left hand side of the Sat Nav unit. You will see it when you remove the unit. Depending on the size of the cradle you may have problems opening the glovebox and or cup holder. My phone is an Ericsson T28 so is so small that is does not foul on either.

The only problem that I noticed is that the dash may sit out slightly to let the bracket in, but this did not cause any lasting damage.

You can also wire the phone kit to mute the stereo and play through the speakers if you buy the correct lead. This can be sourced from Autoleads.

Hope the above helps.:)

MHW do a variety of coloured replacement side repeaters. You can get them from Banshe in our Discount section and maybe also Awesome/DT & NFS.

If that isn't enough you can then change the bulb for a philips w5w blue vision bulb.
