Went to see Will at P-Torque yesterday for my re-map. Having read a few reviews now my experience seems similar which is no bad thing, read on if you're considering.......
Arrived 25 minutes late (sorry!) and was shown into the top-gear-waiting room.
Around 45 mins later Will popped in to say he was taking the car for a test drive - fast work considering I had the remap, a Forge 007P DV fitted and Will was kind enough to fit my new cotton green panel filter which I took along with me.
5 minutes later, time for my turn - the usual test drive route was clogged with traffic due to road works so a small diversion later we came across a suitable dual carriageway.
2nd gear through the revs, foot planted, into 3rd and 4th, a big grin appears on my face :)
My only worry prior to getting the remap was, bhp increase figures aside, I wouldn't really 'notice' the power increase. The difference however is immediately obvious - the best way to describe is that each gear post remap felt like the gear below it pre remap: 3rd felt like second, 4th felt like 3rd etc.
The power delivery is a lot more linear and does seem to hold on until you select the next gear better than before.
I drove a couple of 210 Cupra R's before buying the Cupra and the power now feels similar, but a bit 'punchier'.
Having handed over the cash and said farewell to Will, the drive back to Bristol from Wolverhampton let me get to know the remap a bit better. 5th gear getting onto the M5 was a nice surprise, excellent acceleration and had a shock when I took 6th and checked the speedo.
1st gear is very different too - still only really suitable for getting the car moving but since the remap it is a lot smoother with no 'lurch' when the boost comes on.
The torque available in 6th is also a lot better and makes motorway driving easier as you no longer need to drop into 5th to get some quick acceleration if you need it.
So, all in all a fantastic, professional experience with P-Torque and I am very pleased with the re-map. The price I paid for the re-map / DV supply and fit at Christmas prices is far less than many companies charge for the map alone.
The slightly amusing end to the story is arriving back in Bristol to find my boot no longer opens  but I've already read a load of forum posts about this so is unrelated to the re-map.
Thanks again Will, great job and you're a top bloke even though you drive a Beemer :)
