Only done 40 miles so far…
Here goes my experience.
Very nice friendly chap down at Fontain Motors did the dirty deed for me.
Cheers Rob Walsh!

10 minutes if that to do it!
Took it for a quick spin with Rob! Poor chap.. don’t think he is a very good passenger!!:p ;) Sorry if I scared him a little...

The Cupra R deals with it very well indeed… The roads are dry today though!
It seemed to take a little time to start working fully? Weird…

Don’t get me wrong it is defiantly faster… seemed to be on the brakes all the time! they were stinking when I got home...

At tick over it’s no different & and being gently with the throttle it is no different which the misses will be happy with!
As a test I put it in fourth gear at just over 1000RPM and gently fed the power in pressing the accelerator harder as the revs grew!
At around 3000rpm there is lots of sucking noise going on and whoosh! Here comes the torque! Shed loads of it….

In 3rd, 4th 5th & 6th you really feel the difference!

I will post some more up when I have done a few more miles!

Revo on Trial!!!

Know a few people who have had this trial........
After 1/2 hour of driving home they turned around and had the
full program installed!

Simply awesome ain't it!

have had a little hiccup with the Intercooler pipe blowing off last night but is now nice and secure!

A work instruction should be sent to Pedro to show him how to tighten jubilee clips properly!

I did a run to the Office this morning, which is 55 miles.
Managed 29.4MPG not bad eh?

The only way to describe the acceleration in 6th is ridiculously fast!!

I let the misses drive it yesterday and her words were “ You are being silly now, It’s to fast”

I said to her “ you don’t have to press the pedal so hard”! She said “I know but you just have to make it do it so you can feel it putting down all the power. Its quite addictive isn’t it?”

:D:D :D :D :D

Where are you Leo??? Brembo Bill is an authorized Revo dealer and I am pretty sure he is willing to travel to install it - maybe worth a PM to him for your unstallation.

You will not regret getting Revo - just regret the time you had without it!

Btw has anyone switched it back to stock on the sps3???

That's ok Leo

Took it for a quick spin at lunchtime as it has been raining:(

I think it deals with it very well considering!

Just press the fast pedal gently for the first 3 gears!;)

OH and tighten up the Jubilee clip!!!

Adrian.

Nope!
To say she was not impressed when I came in with Oily hands saying I have had a little problem is a bit of an understatement.

Especially as I had only got it back the night before.

My ploy is to get her really drunk at the weekend then mention getting the Full program!

Hey if it can work to by the car in the first place I’m sure she won’t mind a little software upgrade;)

Badger5 will be in Scotland in June/July....

Club Gti sprint at Kames and I will likely make a weeks holiday out of it... (Love Scotland)

If there is a gang of peeps who would deffo want it, and no local dealer is in place... I could probably do it.

regards
Bill

We'll need to keep an eye on it till nearer the time, but if not one in place then it will be a goer. The gang is 2 at the moment, but i'm sure there would be a lot mor einterest, especially if nothing else set up by then. ( that would be good for a group buy discount then ;) )

OMG what have I started - I am sorry Bill.

The Revo/Badger5 tour 2003 - maybe something to watch out for - it was funny getting 40ish cars from South Mimms to Boreham Wood in a convoy (5 miles) Oh I'm going back in the corner reckon if I keep this up I might get relegated to that OTHER site

Maybe it could take the format of the old style Radio 1 roadshows and Bill could be on stage like Gary Davies giving away REVO freebies.
Who wants a t-shirt?:D
