Just a quick note to say thanks to all you guys for all the work you put in to running the net. This is by far one of the most professionally run forums and club that I've come across. Owning a Cupra is great fun and your efforts in providing a means for the exchange of ideas and info are the icing on the cake.
Having just seen your note on what is coming up soon things look as though they are just going to keep getting better.

Fully agree with Steve's sentiments. I know you guys all do this in your own time, and it's very much appreciated.
Most cars I've owned were to get me from A to B. This all changed as soon as I took delivery of my Leon Cupra. Never felt the need to join a car forum before, luckily, for all of us Seat owners we have an excellent site. I have notice the new member numbers growing daily which should make the forums even livelier in the future.
Thanks once again for all your time and commitment in ensuring we have the best site on the net.

Indeed many thanks for your words of encouragement.
Its this community as a whole that has made it what it is, and long may it continue.
I think many thanks must go mainly to Martyn who works endlessly to make the site and the forums look and work well, so hats off to him. :D
All i try to do is answer questions if i can, and be a constant source of encouragement. ;)

A big thanks and well done from me too. I'd have not known half of what I know about Leons now if it weren't for this place. In fact, it's doubtful I'd even be driving one, so I reckon SEAT owe you some thanks too. :)
It would be nice if we did get some thanks from SEAT, even if it was just a simple email.

Aye indeed, trouble with SEAT is they wouldnt know a good thing if it came up and slapped em clean in the chops, but thats only my opinion ;) (covers the sites ass)
More and more people are standing up and taking notice, hopefull before long SEAT will take note, but there is a certain freedom associated with being unofficial. :D
Not a lot of people know that people do all this sort of stuff for free and thats in between work, home life and all the other things that have to be done!
I think that even to do something like this deserves respect, but when it is as well set up and looks as good as this then it is even better.
IT IS by far the friendliest forum and one of the better car related sites that I have seen in my time on the web.
I hope that it does go from strength to strength and although it may feel that it is not being looked at by people at SEAT, it probably is and it probably puts them to shame and they don't want to admit it.
Well done and big respect to all that made it and posts on here because its everybody thats involved that makes a good site!

I agree with everyone above. Speaking as somebody who used to spend a lot of time on the old VW watercooled newsgroup tackling UK-specific issues ('83 Golf ... heh, brilliant car!), there is definitely a shedload of work that goes on in the background of these communities which goes un-noticed.
This community is superb and everyone involved deserves a pat on the back for all the hard work.

Yeah, Martyn slaves his way in HTML, Lee hassles people and pays the bills :) Zboyd design logos, flapper answers all your questions and me.....I just stand around and look pretty...:)
They're the guys who've put the time and effort in. I'm going to help out more from now on.....as a few people have said though, if it wasn't for the 600 members then it would be very boring around here. Thanks to you lot too!

I got involved in setting up the Smart website about 18mths 2yrs ago, and it just takes up so much time. I didnt get a Smart in the end (close! but I came to my senses) and bowed out when the forum became a bitch fest
This forum is absolutely brilliant, first class. I think I have only seen one post which I didnt like, which cant be bad considering how many members and how many hits it gets....now if only Seat took an interest....it is us after all that are financing the company!

They can't help but take notice, 600 plus forums users, were one hell of a group. ;)
From a few people i have spoke to, including SEAT theselves, their "people" monitor what goes on and whats said, no lawyers or anything, just the customer care people, but (ala Bruce Forsyth) "It could be you, whoever you are" cue the OOOOOOO!!!
