sorry didn't know here else to put this...................what does everyone think to the audi tt in LHD form. i could pick one up with all the gadgets for about 13000 - 16000 or a roadster for 17000.
comments and suggestions....and yes obviously a chipped one..

300bhp etc

nice car, I'd like one, even thought about it.
In LHD drive, i dont think you'll shift it later on.
In 2 years the market will be flooded with em (when everyones finance ends) so i reckon u may have trouble movin it.
Nice car tho, get the hard top, the roadster suffers from too much flex, especially with upped power
what do ya think it would be worth in 3 years
I always found it difficult to overtake in a left hand drive car (something the upsoluted leon likes to do!!),
You have to pull out halfway across the road to see if its clear cos your sitting on the wrong side!!,
Might be worth you looking into getting a secondhand rhd maybe?

I've not been in a LHD but driven a 225 Coupe. Great car, drives well. Personally I don't think it's worth the money.
The Bose stereo is the mutts nutts.
According to car, the Coupe is holding it's money better than the roadster.
Make sure it's had the handling pack fitted(spoiler,suspension,ESP) coz if it hasn't people don't want them.
As someone else mentioned, lefties are a pain to overtake in and their value is going to plummet. V plate RHD's are still over 20k.
Up to you but I'd save for a RHD if I was going to do it.

Well i have just done a quick search and found loads of tt180's for around the 14kmark !
Yup!, sorry!, didnt see that bit in the ads!,
The market is already awash with LHD tt's, so looks like they are already getting difficult to shift!

nice motor if you can afford it (insurance and running) did you see last months pvw ? thier was one there DETUNED to 400bhp(i think) it was running a2.7tlr a4? engine and was 0-60 in under 5 sec and still wheel spinning flat out in the wet it's electronics gizmo on-board was giving a reading of 180 mph ,dream on dave it costs 25k for the conversion BLAG ONE OFF THEM :D :cheers:
