Gutted.

Drove down to Fontain, in Iver this morning for my 5 hour free Revo trial :p But when we came to link the program to my ECU we found that my ECU code is not compatible with the programs yet written for the Ibiza Cupra

The Revo software was expecting an ECU code of 6K0906032a/b, however my Cupra's ECU code is just 6K0906032 but with no letter appended. This meant no upgrade today.

Apparently this is because I have an early Cupra, Dec 2000. Fontain motors have reported this to Revo and I am now eagerly awaiting a program to be available for my version.

Just wanted to let you guys know that at present the software does not appear to be available to all Ibiza Cupra's (1.8 20vt) and is worth checking before you take the trek to your nearest dealer.

Thanks to Alex at Fontain for his time, I guess theres no real way in advance of knowing without connecting to the system.

And to Revo, please make this program available ASAP as I am cannot wait to get my car REVO'd!!

zboyd was saying last night that his car (a 99 Leon I believe, one of the first in the country) had a different ECU to every other Leon APR had done, so whilst its uncommon, its happens

All the missing codes mentioned are due for early April 2003. Sorry for any inconvenience caused but I promise it will be worth the wait.

I had a Dec 2000 Ibiza 20VT. The first time time I went to have it APR'd they couldn't do it because the ECU number wasn't recognised. However, they were able to take a copy of my stock program and write a new performance program for it. The cruise control never worked either even though the signals from the stalk were getting through to the ECU.

So they probably sstill don't have the code for my 2002 Cupra... Any REVO people want to clear this issue up or am I gonna have to see what APR come up with...

Did you have the cruise enabled set on the ECU?

Early Ibiza (ECU number 6k0906032) is not covered yet due to comparitively low numbers of this vehicle. We do hope to cover this over the next month or two.
All later Ibiza 1.8T versions are covered and available now.

Cruise control never worked on this 032 ECU even though the function could be activated. Hence the cruise control could only be used as a means of switching an EMCS chip.
