Aye Aye..

I bought some EBC Greens to put on the front of my Cupra 1.8T, as some will know..

I got them about a month ago, but they have been sat in my car waiting for a decent weekend that I had spare time on ..

Come to this sunday and found time to do them... take them out of the box and take my wheel off...

WRONG SODDING PADS..!!!

I bought them from Larkspeed, and the 'kid' on the phone when I ordered them didn't seem too sure when I said the Ibiza 1.8T.. I reckon they have given me the ones for a Golf 1.8T.. !! :(

To save time and effort, when I ring them back and tell them they are sh*t.. does anyone know the correct part number for the pads so I can tell them and I get the right ones next time.. ;)

Cheers guyz..

No such thing as the right ones from EBC. Skinny Gti ones only. Ask them how thick the pads are... If less than 19mm then they aint the ones for the caliper. BUT they'll sell you them as if they were as the silloette (spelling) is the same backplate wise.

the ones I have been sold don't even have the same silhoutte (shape) as the ones on my car..!! That is the problem..

I know that the EBC's are only 15.6mm and should be 19mm if I wanted to go to the full G60 format, but the prob I have is that the actual shape of the pad is different..

I am assuming the lad in the shop looked up the wrong part from the book.. :(

Only part number I can find on the box is

21031.. dunno if that is the part number or not.. but it is the only one on the box..

Just wondered if anyone had any EBC's on their car and knew the correct number.. ??

Cheers..
